Celebrating Diversity: A Spectacular Culture Day 2025
Culture Day 2025 was once again a joyful celebration of the rich diversity within our HAB community. The event, proudly led by students and staff, highlighted the many cultures, voices, and talents that make our school so unique.
At the heart of the day was the incredible Culture Day Show—a vibrant 50-minute performance bursting with creativity and pride. Students took to the stage to share powerful spoken word pieces, stunning vocal performances, and high-energy dance routines. The show was also brought to life by a dazzling cultural catwalk, where students modelled traditional attire from around the world, celebrating heritage, identity, and style.
Earlier in the day, students took part in tutor time activities, including an identity quiz and the chance to write poems exploring who they are and where they come from.
A huge thank you goes to our student photographers, Nicole and Amelia (Year 10), who captured the spirit of the day so brilliantly. See some more of their photos here. We’d also like to celebrate the excellent work of HAB6 students Ella and Blessing, who led on lighting and sound—ensuring the technical side of the show was seamless.
Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this day together. Culture Day continues to be a powerful reminder of the strength and beauty of our diverse community—and the pride we take in celebrating it together.
