Girls, please remember that emailing hours are between 7 am and 7pm. Your teachers will try to get back to you as soon as possible when you email between those hours. You need to make sure that you are taking a proper break in the evenings!

Stay at home to help save lives. ✅ Only go out for essentials such as food or medicine, for work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home), or to exercise, but always keep 2 metres apart from others ❌ Do NOT meet others, even friends and family https://t.co/CltKM7qYQu

What People Say About HAB

We are very proud of our girls and academy and want to share some of the comments we receive from members of the public, visitors and our partner organisations. I hope you enjoy reading them. They make us all very #ProudToBeHAB.

The Year 10 students behaved with absolute professionalism throughout; they were intelligent, inquisitive, receptive and focused in their approach to all tasks and activities. They met several industry professionals who also remarked on their intelligence and creativity.

Harris Academy Bermondsey opened as a City Academy in 2006, replacing Aylwin Girls High School. Prior to conversion, Aylwin had underperformed for three years in a row, between 2001 and 2003. Since opening as an academy, the school has been judged Outstanding on both occasions, with Ofsted praising the ‘excellent support’ of the Harris Federation in supporting disadvantaged students.
