Key events
Year 9 Options Timeline 2026
| Activity | Date | Programme |
| Subject Assemblies | January /February | Students will receive a series of assemblies from the heads of department and faculties about what the subject option is like to study and future study and employment options.

| Online Parent Teams Meeting: Introduction to the Options process | Wednesday February 11th 5.30pm | Parents are invited to attend an online introduction. We will share information about the available options subjects and the HAB process of selecting GCSE options. |
| Yr 9 Parent Evenings | Thursday 26th February
| Parents and students will receive reports of their current progress in subjects. Conversations about strengths and areas for development will guide and support students in their GCSE options process. |
| Options Evening / Options Deadline | Tuesday 24th March 5-6.30pm | Students and parents are invited to the academy to make their final choices. Students and parents will meet with members of the senior leadership team to make final decisions. |
| Offers will be confirmed | June 2026 | Letters will be sent home confirming the options that students will study for GCSE from 2026-2028. |
