Subjects
At HAB6, students study 3 subjects, there is also the opportunity to complete an EPQ (equivalent to half an A level).
We will run subjects based on interest in each subject, please be aware that your subject choices will be an expression of interest. All offers made are conditional until you receive your GCSE results in August 2026.
The Cambridge Advanced Nationals (AAQ) are new Level 3 qualifications in England, equivalent to A-Levels, for 16- to 19-year-olds. They are specifically designed to support entry into higher education. AAQs combining theoretical learning with practical application and feature a blend of examination and coursework. AAQs are the equivalent to 1 A level and students can study a mixture of AAQ and A level qualifications.

Entry requirements
3 A levels | Minimum of 6 GCSEs grade 6-9 in including grade 6 in English and Maths Minimum grade 6 in GCSE subjects you continue at A level For A level STEM subjects a minimum of grade 7 in Maths and minimum grade 77 in combined science Please note that for subjects not offered at GCSE the following criteria apply: Sociology – minimum grade 6 in English and 6 in a humanities Psychology – minimum grade 5 in Maths |
