1,000 Minutes Reading Challenge

HAB's 1,000 Minutes Reading Challenge: A Journey of Imagination and Discovery!

Last term, Year 8 embarked on an exciting adventure, diving into books of all genres. From fiction to comics, their reading journey was rich and rewarding.

Rewards Galore:

Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum achievers received certificates, bookmarks, HABit credits, sweet treats, and even library treasures! The Platinum awardees, who dedicated an hour daily, enjoyed a book voucher and an exclusive Hot Chocolate Friday with the Principal!

Student Voices:

Khearrah found the challenge a breeze, getting lost in characters' worlds. Veronika advocates reading as an escape from reality, making it the best part of life. Amina discovered the joy of reading, enhancing skills and choosing books over screens. Krisa raves about the magic of books, challenging imagination, and growing love. Natalia simply adores how reading transports her to another world.

Leia treasures the diverse range of books in the HAB Library, finding the challenge a fun escape from screens. Wafaa concurs that reading, especially when challenged, is a delight. Ainhoa affirms that finding the right book makes reading easy, and the challenge inspired her to explore more.

Conclusion:

The 1,000 Minutes Reading Challenge not only fostered a love for reading but also united students in a literary journey. As they put down screens, embraced imagination, and devoured words, these young readers discovered the magic within the pages of a book. Here's to more adventures and discoveries in the world of reading!
