Angel Wins Bronze at GB International Karate Competition

Angel KarateWe are super proud of HAB student Angel, who won a bronze medal at the GB International Karate Competition this month.

"I have been practising karate since 2019, three times a week for two hours each day," says Angel. "I tried it out and really enjoyed it because you get stronger mentally and physically, and I like that is mainly about respect."

The competition took place in Birmingham earlier in September. "I fought 18 people in the 11-12 category and I won third place and got a Bronze medal," adds Angel. "I was proud of myself because some of the older students were a lot bigger than me."

Everyone at HAB is proud of you too. Well done, Angel!
