How to Borrow Books From Our Library

HABG 088Even though the library is not open as usual, because of Covid, students can still borrow books.

If students want to borrow a book, they can ask their parents or their tutors to email Amy Morris Amy.Morris@harrisbermondsey.org.uk with the book requests.

Alternatively, students can borrow a book during Homework Club. Each year group has a designated Homework Club day.

  • Tuesday, Year 7 - 2:30 to 4:45 - Students will be allowed to leave the Library at 3:00, 4:00 or 4:30.
  • Wednesday, Year 8 - 2:35 to 4:45 - Students will be allowed to leave the library at 4:00 or any time after 4:30.
  • Thursday, Year 9 - 3:30 to 4:45 - Students will be allowed to leave the Library at 4:00 or any time after 4:30.
  • Friday, Year 10 - 3:20 to 4:45 - Students will be allowed to leave Homework Club at any time before 4:45

Students no longer need to book a slot in Homework Club. Instead places are given on a first come first serve basis (max 25).

Students can use the school computers and access Office 365 whilst at Homework Club.

Students can make their own way to Homework Club at the end of the day. Upon entering the library, all students must sanitise their hands and write their names on the register.
