Meet our First 'Value Ambassadors'

Value Ambassadors 2Our first ever Value Ambassadors received their special pin badges last term and will be our Compassion, Ambition and Respect Ambassadors for this term.

The Value Ambassadors scheme rewards students for demonstrating three values we hold dear as a school – compassion, ambition and respect. Nominations are made by staff across the school.

  • To receive the compassion pin, students must practice acts of kindness in its many forms, and encourage others by speaking positive, encouraging words, for example.
  • To achieve the ambition pin, students must achieve high marks but also complete a target they set for themselves, show commitment, and take risks and try something new.
  • To win the respect pin, girls must, for example, be kind to others in actions and words, be thoughtful about other people’s opinions and celebrate the achievements of others.

Well done to all our Value Ambassadors from last term. We are very #ProudToBeHAB of you all!

“Our Value Ambassadors are girls that other students can look to for inspiration and as representatives for what is right, noble and moral,” said Ms Senior.

“It is encouraging for us to see how they celebrate one another when they are nominated for the values. Being nominated by their teachers for something other than academic work reinforces that we value their growth as whole, not just academically.”
