As ever & his team beautifully judge integration of rich thorough substantive knowledge with rigorous disciplinary learning, kept close to historical scholarship, never in thrall to proxies, never confusing awful GCSE questions with quality. And he gets better results https://t.co/PDxCLaGseA

Saw the idea of doing ‘examiner reports’ and have done ‘Assessment Reports’ for Year 7. Allows the students to see beyond banal, repetitive www/ebi’s and ensure that the focus is on long term retention of key content knowledge https://t.co/BBOsfWkna3

Some of our native Spanish-speaking students across Year 8-11 have volunteered to be paired up with a Y11 Spanish student. They meet every Tuesday before school at our MFL Conversation Club. I feel so proud to see their confidence grow as their conversational skills improve! https://t.co/hnqIaogrWz

Year 13 Business Students Host Macmillan Coffee Morning

Pictures from today's lovely Macmillan Coffee Morning organised by our sixth form BTEC Business students.

They raised a fantastic £375, up by 62% from last year. This would not have been possible without the effort and dedication of our Year 13 BTEC Business students and the generosity for staff and students for baking and giving. A big shout out to all you guys for a job well done! We're #ProudToBeHAB of you all.

Our students said...

"We worked as a team to put together the Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for cancer support. We also invited Age UK from the local community to be a part of our event, which was very well attended. Although this was a part of our coursework, we have learned more than we thought we would learn and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to host our local community, where we were able to demonstrate our team working and organisation skills." Year 13 students Sayra, Ramisa, Ajhai, Klara, Samia, Ikra, Joshua and Acelya.
