Sixth Formers Celebrate Excellent A Level Results
Every student at Harris Academy Bermondsey Sixth Form (HAB6) is set to go to university this year, following the excellent A Level results announced today. Overall, 41% have gained places at the UK’s top Russell Group universities, which is well above the national average.
Following their good results, our students are set to study a wide range of excellent courses at highly reputable universities. For example:
- Harsa is the first HAB6 student to secure a place to study medicine, at Nottingham University
- Oyindi goes to LSE to study Sociology
- Victoria goes to York to study Physics with Philosophy.
Meanwhile, seven students will take up places at Queen Mary University of London to study a range of courses including History and Sociology, Accounting and Management, Politics and International Relations, and Business Management.
“We are really pleased to have maintained an excellent Russell Group standing this year and to have our first HAB6 student going to study medicine,” said Lyndsay Harris, Vice Principal. “Every student has left with a university place she can be proud to have achieved and we wish them all the very best in the next stage of their educational career.”
