A Wonderful Delivery from The Children's Book Project

Last week, we received a fantastic delivery of new and pre-loved books from the wonderful team at The Children's Book Project.

According to the National Literacy Trust, around 1 in 10 children and young people in the UK do not have a book of their own at home. This is particularly concerning, as reading for pleasure is closely linked to both academic achievement and positive wellbeing.

The Children's Book Project is working to change this by putting books directly into the hands of young people. As a school full of book lovers, we are proud to support their mission. Over the coming year, these books will be shared with our students as gifts, rewards and prizes, helping even more young people discover the joy of reading.

A huge thank you to The Children's Book Project for their generosity. We can't wait to see these books find new homes with the wonderful students of HAB!
