Our results
GCSE success
In August 2025, students celebrated a very strong set of GCSE results.
This year’s results reflect the dedication of our students and the commitment of our staff to helping every young person reach their full potential. We are proud to see so many of our students achieving excellent outcomes across a wide range of subjects, with more than one third of Year 11 students achieving top grades 7–9. Students performed particularly well across a broad curriculum, including Art and Geography, demonstrating both academic strength and creativity.
We are immensely proud of our Year 11 students. They have worked incredibly hard and demonstrated great perseverance throughout their GCSE journey. These results open the door to exciting new opportunities, and we look forward to seeing all that they go on to achieve in the future.
Celebrating High Achievement
Our students’ success reflects ambition, resilience and a commitment to excellence:

Kelly – Achieved ten GCSEs, including five grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s, demonstrating exceptional perseverance in the face of personal challenges.

Xue Yi – Seven grade 9s, two grade 8s and one grade 7.

Sofia – Six grade 9s and three grade 8s.

Sabella – Six grade 9s and three grade 8s.

Mya – Four grade 9s, four grade 8s and one grade 6.
Opening Doors to the Future
Our GCSE programme prepares students for success beyond Year 11, whether progressing into our Sixth Form, apprenticeships or further education. High expectations, expert teaching and strong pastoral support ensure every student is equipped to reach their full potential.
A-Level success
Our Sixth Form results in August 2025 were also very strong and meant that the vast majority of students secured their first-choice university places and virtually all have secured either their first or insurance place.
The array of courses our students are going on to complete is a true testament to the broadening of minds our HAB6 team encourages.
Exceptional A Level Outcomes
Harris Academy Bermondsey continues to deliver outstanding A Level results, with the percentage of students achieving top A and A grades more than doubling year-on-year*. These results reflect our high expectations, expert teaching and commitment to every student’s success.
Progression to Leading Universities
Our students progress to some of the UK’s most respected universities and degree courses, including:

Ayesha – Former Sixth Form Student President, now progressing to the University of Reading to study Pharmacy, becoming the first in her family to attend university.

Ainara – Accepted to study Biomedical Science at King’s College London, also the first in her family to progress to higher education.

Ahniia – An exceptional linguist who joined the Academy in Year 11 after arriving from Ukraine, now progressing to University College London to study Spanish and Italian.

Olayinka – Progressing to King’s College London to study Adult Nursing, preparing for a rewarding career in healthcare.
