HAB Sports Day 2026

What a fantastic day we had at this year’s Sports Day! The sun was shining, the atmosphere was full of energy and there was plenty of friendly competition as students proudly represented their houses.

Throughout the day, students took part in three-legged races, 200m races, obstacle relays, 70m sprints, 50m relays, egg-and-spoon races and the ever-popular tug of war. Staff also joined in with their own races and tug-of-war competition, providing plenty of entertainment for everyone watching!

With two ice-cream vans on site, students and staff were able to cool down and enjoy a well-earned treat between events.

A huge thank you to all the teachers and staff who helped organise and run the events, supported the students and made the day such a success. Special recognition must go to our incredible commentators, Ms Harvey and Ms Brown, who kept the energy high, the competition lively and the events moving at a fast pace throughout the day. We would also like to thank Ms Maltais-Levesque and Ms Donnelly for organising such a wonderful celebration to bring the academic year to a memorable close.

The final house-point totals were:

Red House – 2,460 points
Green House – 2,420 points
Yellow House – 1,840 points
Blue House – 1,410 points

Congratulations to Red House on taking first place, with Green House finishing only 40 points behind! Well done to every student who participated, supported their teammates and helped make the day such a success.
