Greetings from China!
Our students are currently enjoying their visit to China. These photographs show the group at two of Beijing’s most iconic landmarks – the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City.
Stretching for over 21,000 kilometres, the Great Wall was built over many centuries to protect China’s northern borders and remains one of the world’s most remarkable feats of engineering. The Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing emperors, served as the political and ceremonial heart of China for almost 500 years and is now one of the country’s most treasured cultural sites.
We look forward to sharing more updates as the visit continues.
