The Brilliant Club Scholars Programme - Year 8 Autumn Graduation

Year 8 students from recently celebrated a fantastic achievement as they attended The Brilliant Club Scholars Programme Autumn Graduation. The event marked the culmination of weeks of hard work, independent study, and university-style learning.

The Brilliant Club Scholars Programme is designed to challenge pupils by giving them the opportunity to work with a PhD tutor on a challenging academic topic. Throughout the programme, students took part in university-style tutorials, completed independent research, and produced a final assignment which was graded using real university marking criteria. This experience helped them to develop critical thinking skills, academic confidence, and resilience.

Held at SOAS, University of London, a prestigious university venue, the Autumn Graduation ceremony was a proud and inspiring occasion.  

The event was a wonderful recognition of the students’ dedication and determination. We are incredibly proud of our Year 8 scholars for embracing this challenge and representing the school with such maturity and enthusiasm.
