Girls to Collect 5,000 Items for Crisis
Girls have started collecting items to be donated to the homelessness charity, Crisis. They are planning to collect at least 5,000 items over three weeks that will then be used at the charity's centres over Christmas, to help with food preparation or activities.
Here's what's being collected - please help if you can!
- Year 7 - sketching pencils, colouring pencils, colouring pens
- Year 8 - paint (watercolours and acrylic), paintbrushes
- Year 9 - chalk, PVA glue and Pritt Stick
- Year 10 - sponges (for washing up), cleaning cloths (J cloths)
- Year 11 - aluminium foil
- Year 12 - aprons
- Year 13 - tea towels
"Crisis is working to give people a surer footing for escaping homelessness in the long term and we're delighted to support their work," said Acting Co-Principal, Rebecca Iles-Smith.
