HAB Rowing Team has Big Plans for Next Year

Rowing July 2017 (3)The HAB rowing team completed their final training session of the term at Surrey Docks Watersports Centre last week.

Next academic year, HAB will be working in partnership with London Youth Rowing to provide the girls with a community coach, indoor rowing machines, support to train and develop leadership skills and teamwork, plus access to local and area indoor competitions.

"My experience at rowing in the water was great fun," says Nour-El-Houda, Year 8, who joined HAB Rowing club in Year 7.

"The thing I enjoyed most was rowing indoor. It is a lot of fun and it helps me to learn a lot of skills for example maintaining my strength through the one minute row, teamwork, communication and being resilient."

Well done to all our rowers for working so fantastically hard this year. We're really #ProudToBeHAB of you all.
