Theme Day Focuses on Careers

Our latest Theme Day was a chance to focus on careers in a number of different contexts, including food and catering, creative writing, science and technology.

The Year 7 had a Food Day, for example, with a practical session on preparing healthy smoothies, a Quorn tasting and preparation session, a talk about careers in the food industry talk and a session on nutrition.

Years 8-10 had sessions from the Samaritans, Kudos (an online careers platform based around your personality and skills) and Modern Muse (an online social platform for students to investigate women that work in science, technology, engineering and maths). They also learned about CV writing and had a session on equality in the workplace.
