Spoken Word Showcase of Writing and Music

We welcomed family, friends and teachers to our final Spoken Word Showcase of the year, which took place on 28 June in the Harris Academy Theatre.

Our Spoken Word events are a platform for HAB girls to share their outstanding creative writing, alongside musical performances and singing. 

SpokenWord June17 16The creative writing performed at the event was inspired by topics including prejudice, taking things for granted and Grenfell Tower, with music from an excellent guitar ensemble and an a capella version of Ain't No Mountain High Enough.
