Students Host Age UK Christmas Lunch - Report

On 18th December, the HAB student council welcomed 26 guests from Age UK to our annual Christmas lunch. It was a fantastic event with all our guests having a great time.

During the afternoon, guests had a delicious Christmas lunch and were entertained with performances by the Academy choir and spoken word pieces read beautifully by our students, followed by a quiz and raffle with wonderful prizes.

As an extra special Christmas treat, we watched some of our guests performing a Latino dance. Their brilliant costumes were amazing! Everyone really enjoyed this and joined along with clapping.

We received a lovely card (pictured below) from our guests to thank us for the afternoon, but the pleasure was all ours.
