2017 Annual Prize Giving at Clothworkers Hall

Harris Academy Bermondsey held it’s fourth annual Prize Giving, at Clothworkers Hall on Monday 13 November.

PrizeGiving17 082

Prizes were awarded for academic excellence, with one being awarded for every subject for each year group. The ceremony is held at Clothworkers’ Hall because our Chair of Governors is a member and it links with our theme of Conquering the City – encouraging girls to aspire to working in the nearby City of London.

Our choir performed brilliantly at the event, under the guidance of our new Assistant Principal, Mr Sparks, who had just two rehearsals with them but managed to get them pitch perfect!

Cllr Charlie Smith, Mayor of Southwark, spoke at the event, along with Christian Kramer, Vice Chair of Governors and our two Acting Co-Principals Rebecca Isles-Smith and Gillian Hodgson.
