Bintu Receives Law Offers from SOAS, Warwick and Bristol

BintuBintu has received offers to study Law at SOAS, Warwick and Bristol which is a huge achievement and we are all so proud of her at HAB.

"I believe the legal system has a great effect on our daily lives as most laws are either inspired by our norms and values or influence them," says Bintu. "I am keen to gain more insight on the law-making mechanisms by studying Law. I am looking forward to gaining worthwhile experiences and being independent."

Bintu says she is preparing herself for higher education through getting in the habit of reading through topics before lessons in order to be familiar with the independent study routines at university.

"I found the directions and feedback from Harris Experience Advanced really helpful during the early stages of writing my personal statement, and I also got lots of support from Ms Eaton and Ms.Mercer which helped me," she adds.

"Outside of school I am part of the Social Mobility Foundation which really helped me when deciding on universities and they also exposed me to enrichment opportunities such as an internship in a law firm. I believe adding such opportunities to my personal statement and UCAS application really made it stand out."

Well done, Bintu. We are very #ProudToBeHAB of your approach to your future studies.
