Girls Go Wild Camping in Wales
A two-day mountain hike was one of the highlights of our week-long residential trip to Wales earlier this term for 24 girls from hyears 8 and 12.
Challenging activities included the overnight hike on which they had to carry all their own clothes, food and tents.
“Although it is a tough couple of days, students practise essential skills such as teamwork, communication and resilience, all of which will help them succeed later on in life,” said Ms Harris.
What students said...
Here's what some of our intrepid girls had to say about their adverntures.
Eva: “I found the trip really enlightening and I learnt a lot about myself and how far I could push myself.”
Yesmine: “It was character building.”
Fatjona: “A life changing experience.”
Elizabeth: “I leant to develop patience.”
The trip was run by the education charity Outward Bound and kindly funded by Make My Day Better.
