Stunning Second Place for HAB Girls in Rowing Finals

The HAB Indoor Rowing Squad show off their medals after finishing a fantastic second at the Row4Results Area Finals last week.

They reached finals after winning the East Central London heat last month, in the competition run by London Youth Rowing. "This is only the third term of indoor rowing at HAB and we're really proud of the progress the girls have made," said Ms Kelly, Teacher of PE. "They are a hard-working group of students and really enjoy seeing what they can achieve when they work together."

“Rowing has given me an excellent experience and has also helped me with a lot of other sports," says Mabinty.

Gabrielle agrees: “I found the rowing fun yet it drains a lot of energy out of you. I also found it a good way to bond with my friends.”

Keyonna added: “The Row4Results was one of the best experiences ever. Rowing is a very good way to keep fit and take children of their electronics.”
