Sir David Bell

Sir David Bell, former director of the Financial Times visited the Academy on Monday 17th October. He held a most impressive assembly on his life, the people who inspired him, receiving a knighthood and gave his opinions on the News of The World phone hacking scandal.

He's also Director of the innovative Sadler's Wells dance company in north London and a range of impressive charitable organisations. In addition, he has been asked by the government to assist in the phone hacking inquiry.
